About Grand Prairie

Sending a Mail/Care Package

You are more than welcome to send letters to the Grand Prairie. All letters cannot contain:

Sending Money

Inmates can get money through you sending a money order to the address on the FBOP website. However, this way will take about a month before these funds will be deposited into their account.

If the inmate cannot wait that long, you can use Western Union or MoneyGram to fund their inmate’s account.

Phone calls

The Grand Prairie will allow inmates to phone home. However, they do not allow inmates to receive incoming calls or will take messages.

Inmates can find telephones in the common areas that they share with their fellow inmates. These telephones can be used during their daytime hours. If an inmate is exhibiting good behavior and is not in solitary confinement, they will be allowed to use the telephones.
